The recent Screen Ireland report into skills shortages within the sector stated that “To succeed as an industry, the culture needs to move from focusing on projects, to talking about the strategic development of the industry, companies and individuals. If the focus remains at project level,
then it will never develop as a sustainable and inclusive industry for all.” adding that “Another key area of focus for skills should be business skills, IP development and company development and scaling.” (Screen Ireland, The Skills Challenge for the Screen Sector in Ireland 2023).
To address these needs, Letcombe Production looks to combine our managerial and creative experience to transform the sector. We have worked with communities, start-ups and established companies, and with each, we have provided my entrepreneurial, managerial, and creative experience to enhance and expand these businesses. In addition, we use my design experience to build each company’s brand based on the company ethos.
